These freestanding aluminum shading structures are an excellent addition to your pool or patio and essential for effortless outdoor entertaining.
SummerSpace® Open Air Cabanas
The SummerSpace® Open Air Cabana brings resort-like luxury right to your home. Gather the neighbors for a pool party, host the next summer grill-out, or simply just relax beneath the canopy: spend summer your way with a SummerSpace® cabana. These cabanas are fully customizable with three different shapes, 9 different frame colors, and 24 canopy colors, and all come with roof ventilation and anchored footing for a quality shading structure from top to bottom.
Cabana Shapes
SummerSpace® Open Air Cabanas come in rectangular, square, and octagonal shapes. Talk to one of our experts about where you want your cabana, and we’ll help you find the optimal size based on your outdoor area and activities.
- The Rectangle SummerSpace® Open Air Cabana is 12’x16’ with around 6’8” of headroom for plenty of space for outdoor furniture and guests.
- The Square SummerSpace® Open Air Cabana comes in a space-saving 8’x8’ canopy all the way through a palatial 16’x16’. Headroom varies between standard leg and extended leg models.
- The Octagonal SummerSpace® Open Air Cabana combines the grandeur of a gazebo and pergola with the flexibility of an awning and comes in a generous 13’ or 15’ diameter.
Cabana Frame
The SummerSpace® Open Air Cabana is built to last. The tapered legs are aesthetically pleasing and also extremely sturdy. The anchored footing allows your aluminum cabana to hold firm even during a storm, and your open-air cabana can be mounted to various outdoor surfaces like concrete, wood, or composite decking. While your SummerSpace® Open Air Cabana cannot be mounted on soft or uneven surfaces like asphalt, grass, or patio brick, SummerSpace® offers a deck perimeter kit that anchors your shade structure while elevating its style. The SummerSpace® deck perimeter kit is constructed from premium aluminum and composite decking and with pressure-treated joists for a secure structure with a streamlined silhouette.
The frame of your SummerSpace® Open Air Cabana is pretreated and then coated with the proprietary SummerShield™ powder coating. The final finish is so durable, it withstands 3,000 hours of salt spray testing and will not rust or corrode. Finish colors include six signature colors and three exclusive colors. As your local SummerSpace® dealer, we are happy to provide frame color samples.
Lastly, your SummerSpace® Open Air Cabana frame forms the Vector Vent Roof System for ultimate breathability and comfort. The industrial-strength aluminum is specially matched to the rest of your cabana’s frame so as not to take away from your cabana’s style.
Cabana Fabrics
SummerSpace® Open Air Cabanas come in 24 ultra-durable marine-grade fabrics. Tempotest® Italian Performance Fabrics are among the most trusted performance fabrics in the industry for sun and element protection. Enjoy deliciously cool shade: the temperature under your SummerSpace® cabana fabric can be up to 20°F cooler than outside of it. Finally, the easy roof-tensioning system keeps your fabric smooth and secure.
Customizing Your SummerSpace® Open Air Cabana
Your SummerSpace® Open Air Cabana can further be customized with additional features like corner curtains and privacy panels and a light and fan bracket mounting kit.
For a truly beachside look, corner curtains and privacy panels can add an extra, luxurious detail to your cabana while also keeping your outdoor entertaining area private and well-sheltered. Cabana drapery and privacy panels come in modern neutrals, and corner ties can be stylishly matched to your main canopy fabric for a complementing splash of color.
Ensure your outdoor space stays comfortable throughout the day by equipping your cabana with a light or fan. The light and fan bracket mounting kit allows you to keep your cabana cool even in the hottest part of summer, and by adding a light, your outdoor enjoyment doesn’t have to stop when the sun goes down.
