Cordless Shades
Traditional cord loop adjustments on window treatments pose a strangulation hazard, so the Window Coverings Safety Council recommends selecting a cordless adjustment style for your shades. Luckily, Hunter Douglas has you covered. Their LiteRiseⓇ system is not only safe, but it is also easy to operate. All you have to do is push up on the bottom rail or pull down to adjust and your shades will stay exactly where you left them. As a bonus, the cordless adjustment leaves your window shades with a clean, uncluttered look. LiteRiseⓇ is available on a wide array of Hunter Douglas styles, including Design Studio™ Roller Shades, Silhouette® Window Shadings, Duette® Honeycomb Shades, Vignette® Modern Roman Shades, and many more.
Cordless Blinds
Although shades are generally more recommended for kids’ rooms, Hunter Douglas does have an excellent selection of cordless blinds available with either LightRise® or SimpleLift™. With SimpleLift™, push a button on the bottom rail of your blinds to unlock them for adjusting and they will stay in place until the button is pushed again. Hunter Douglas offers three durable styles of blinds available with either LightRise® or SimpleLift™ including: Parkland® Wood Blinds, EverWood® Alternative Wood Blinds, and Modern Precious Metals® Aluminum Blinds.
