SummerSpace® Porch Enclosure Systems

The SummerSpace® Porch Enclosure System uses extruded aluminum frames that can withstand the wet climate of Bellingham, WA, resisting rusting and warping. Extruded aluminum is shaped under high pressure to create strong, precise profiles that fit together tightly and hold up for decades.

The frames feature SummerShield™ powder coating that meets AAMA 2604 standards, including 3,000-hour salt-spray testing. This fade-resistant finish comes in 15 low-gloss, lightly textured color options with anti-microbial technology for easy maintenance.

The SummerSpace® system's defining feature is how easily you switch between screened and enclosed configurations. The tempered glass windowpanes slide out from the bottom when you want a screen porch enclosure for summer—no tools required, no complicated latches.

When the weather turns cold or wet, simply slide the panes back in from the bottom. They lock into place for a weatherproof seal that blocks wind and keeps your porch comfortable during colder seasons.

SummerSpace® Porch Enclosure Systems consist of a FlexScreen® instead of traditional rigid screens. Made from spring steel coated with exterior-grade PVC, FlexScreen® is scratch-resistant and handles extreme weather without tearing or sagging.

The screen installs using tension, so the frame disappears into the screen pocket without obstructing your view. Cleaning is simple, as you can remove the FlexScreen® in seconds, rinse it off with a hose, and reinstall it just as quickly.

Patio enclosures from SummerSpace® are built to fit your specific porch opening, accommodating various elements, including:

• Overall window panel heights up to 98 inches, including transom.
• Transom heights range from 10 to 32 inches for fixed glass, or 14 to 32 inches for sliding glass.
• Window panel widths from 24 inches minimum to 84 inches maximum.
• Narrow matching window panels from 14 inches to 24 inches wide.

The SummerSpace® Porch Enclosure System includes a two-piece aluminum powder-coated trim kit that conceals mounting screws on both the inside and the outside. Geocell Phantom translucent sealant, color-matched to your panels, creates an intentional-looking weatherproof seal.

The extra-strength polyester screening also offers privacy, so neighbors can't see details inside your porch from the street, but you still get natural light and clear views out.
